Free for Hinton and Yellowhead County residents. Mattresses cost <0. Your sign is worth less than a used mattress.

How to bin it

The sign

Corrugated plastic, #5. Most dumps call it garbage, and Calgary won't recycle it. Ask at the gate.

The wire stake

Scrap metal pile. Usually free.

The wooden stake

Pull the staples. Clean-wood pile if they have one.

How we picked: Calgary and Edmonton divisions get the city dump closest to the middle of the division. Everywhere else gets the one serving the main town. Hours change and some sites want a resident card, so call first.

Bin your own sign only. Taking someone else's is still theft, even if they lost.
